The most common way to kill bacteria in your pool and keep your swimming pool water healthy is to use chlorine. Before using chlorine, it is important to have a correct water balance first. Once this has been achieved, chlorine levels between 1.0-3.0 mg/l should be satisfactory to preserve bacteria free swimming pool water. There are two ways to tell if your pool is a well-managed chlorine treated swimming pool is that it will have no odour and the level of chloramines will be less than 0.5 mg/l. Here at Cascade Pools we have a wide range of swimming pool chemicals for you to choose from to suit your swimming pool requirements.
Blue Horizon 20g Multifunctional Stabilised Chlorine Tablets
Ideal for use in small above ground pools, hot tubs & spas
Tablets contain clarifier, pH 3.0
Prior to using this product adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2-7.6 to promote bather comfort, plant protection and effective chemical use.
These smaller chlorine tablets are designed for use with chlorine feeders or floating dispensers. They will slowly erode over a period of 3-5 days depending on the water flowing over them. As the tablets release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise the pool prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. Ideal chlorine levels are between 1-3mg/l (ppm).
Important: DO NOT ADD TABLETS DIRECTLY TO A POOL AND ALWAYS USE A CLEAN APPLICATOR WITH NO OTHER PRODUCTS PRESENT.
