This means that all components used in their construction are designed to give maximum efficiency at swimming pool conditions.   • The Pro Pac 'X' range incorporates a hot gas defrost which allows the unit to operate at a lower ambient temperature for those cooler summer days we sometimes experience, therefore making for a better heating season!

  • Heat pump sizes assumes the following UK conditions:  The entire pool is inground,  Ground water level is below pool construction,  Floating heat retention cover is used 20hrs/day,  Average depth of pool water @1.3m.

  • Heat pumps are by no means a strange invention. Similar in operation to a refrigerator, they absorb energy in the form of heat and moisture from outside air, upgrading this energy to a usable form of heat through the unique ability of their refrigeration circuit.

  • By careful design Calorex Heat Pumps are capable of providing your pool with up to five units of absorbed heat for every one unit paid for. Even on a cloudy cold day when the temperature may only be 5°C, they will give three units for every one consumed.
  • All Calorex heat pumps contain a fully sealed non-CFC refrigeration circuit which is specifically designed to operate as a swimming pool heat pump. This means that all components used in their construction are designed to give maximum efficiency at typical swimming pool temperatures. Furthermore, the choice of material and construction will give years of trouble free service.
  • All Heat Pumps are subject to a 3 year parts and labour warranty (UK only). The Heat Exchanger is subject to a 5 year parts warranty (labour first 3 years only).
