By integrating cutting-edge graphene technology and improved polymer formulation, the Gen2 concept redefines what’s possible in pool cover design: stronger, lighter materials with no compromise on lifespan or performance.
Sol+Guard™ Gen2 is the first in a new generation of pool covers – an evolution of our industry-leading transparent material. It uses 20% less polymer, creating a lighter, thinner cover that is easier to fabricate, while still delivering the same class-leading solar performance.
Gen2 represents a smarter, more sustainable approach to pool cover innovation, designed to meet the demands of today’s industry while protecting the resources of tomorrow.
Material – UV stabilised and pigmented LDPE with UV protection of 140 or 180 kLys/yrs. 180 offers additional UV protection through increased protective additives (1.2% as opposed to 0.99%), making it ideal for extreme sun traps and overseas use.

Please read the following important points before ordering:
Solar protection sheets are provided FREE with all solar covers. This sheet must be used to cover the solar cover when it is not on the pool.
Solar covers are supplied oversize and will require a small amount of trimming on site with scissors.
Solar covers are supplied in bags. Whilst we do everything in our power to protect them from damage in transit, damage does sometimes occur. It is important that these bags are checked for damage before signing for delivery. Once it is signed for, the carrier will not entertain any claims for damage. It is the responsibility of the receiver to ensure that this is done.
The solar cover warranty is applied to covers used on pools run at 30°C or less.
Shock treatment of the pool with chemicals whilst the cover is on will seriously degrade the cover and void the warranty.
During manufacture, the heat welding process may cause slight reversion. This is acceptable throughout the swimming pool industry and will not detract from the life expectancy or performance of the cover.
