Small Slidelock Telescopic Reel System for Domestic Swimming Pools
Considered the best domestic reel on the market. Manufactured by Plastica using an anodised aluminium tube, bright polished stainless steel end stands and smooth plastic bearings. The steering wheels are fitted with stainless steel axled crank handles, which helps ensure the system is extremely easy to operate. A unique locking device holds the tube in position, stopping the cover from unwinding.
The Slidelock Telescopic Reel System is extremely versatile and can be easily adapted to be electrically operated with an optional remote controlled Powerpack or alternatively the Helios solar powered system. Please ask for separate literature.
The reel comes complete with all the necessary straps and fittings as well as an instruction guide to ensure a quick and effortless installation of either a new or existing cover to its adjustable reel. There are many optional extras available including a Castor Pack for mobile systems, DIY Leading Edges, Storage Covers and Reduction Gearbox. The Reduction Gearbox drastically reduces the force necessary to operate your Plastica Slidelock Reel, making light and easy work of even the largest standard domestic covers on indoor and outdoor pools.
The Slidelock system is available in two sizes: the small which extends to take covers from 3.0m to 4.6m (10′ to 15′) pool width and the larger version which extends to take covers from 4.6m to 6.1m (15′ to 20′) in width.
• Small Slidelock tubes go from 3.7m to 4.9m (12′ to 16′) with a minimum 600mm overlap of the tubes. This will accommodate covers from 3.0m (10′) up to a maximum 4.6m (15′) wide, leaving 150mm (6”) of tube exposed each side.
• Large Slidelock tubes go from 4.9m to 6.4m (16′ to 21′) with a minimum 760mm overlap of the tubes. This will accommodate covers from 4.6m (15′) up to a maximum 6.1m (20′) wide, leaving 150mm (6”) of tube exposed each side.

Notes: Reels should be set up to have a maximum 300mm overlap each side.
Maximum recommended area of material on both reels is 75sqm.
Cover/tube overlap should be kept to a minimum.
Some flexing of the tube may occur with larger covers.
