It is recommended, for safety reasons, that ABS treads (SPC290) are replaced every 5 years. The Certikin ABS tread carries a safety warning complete with the recommended year for replacement.
Important – For commercial applications stainless steel treads must be used. It is strongly recommended that ladders are inspected at regular intervals to ensure safety of users.
