The Heat Retention Pool Cover, RaeGuard™ is engineered specifically to maximise heat retention through carefully tailored reflective properties. Identifiable immediately from its silver top layer and white bubble, RaeGuard™’s unique properties work to actively reduce heat losses from a pool’s surface by up to 57%. Ideal for indoor pools, spa and hot tub covers or applications where coverage is only possible at night.
RaeGuard™ has been optimised to increase reflection in the mid-infrared region, reflecting thermal radiation back into the pool. Responsible for 20% of the total heat losses from a pool, slowing radiative heat losses from the water’s surface has a significant impact on heating demands.
The unique GeoBubble™ technology air cells provide buoyancy and create an insulative barrier to conductive losses from the pool. Working as a barrier to evaporation, RaeGuard™ eliminates evaporative losses by 98%. Covering the pool to guard against evaporation not only preserves water resources but prevents 70% of the heat losses from a swimming pool.
Spa & Hot Tub Cover – As an efficient and flexible cover RaeGuard makes a useful addition for any Hot Tub or Spa. In this regard the cover works a dual purpose as an easily installed alternative to reinstalling the heavy weight hard covers between uses. When installed under the hard cover the RaeGuard™ will improve heat retention efficiencies and prolong the life of the spa or hot tub hard cover.
Available with or without a reinforcing weave – For an ultra-strong reinforced pool cover with higher tensile strength, offering greater durability for harsh environments and commercial use pools, the reinforcing weave materials biaxially woven HDPE and exceptional UV package offers a boost to the GeoBubble™ swimming pool covers mechanical properties without impacting the unique performance benefits of the specific cover.

Please read the following important points before ordering:
Solar protection sheets are provided FREE with all solar covers. This sheet must be used to cover the solar cover when it is not on the pool.
Solar covers are supplied oversize and will require a small amount of trimming on site with scissors.
Solar covers are supplied in bags. Whilst we do everything in our power to protect them from damage in transit, damage does sometimes occur. It is important that these bags are checked for damage before signing for delivery. Once it is signed for, the carrier will not entertain any claims for damage. It is the responsibility of the receiver to ensure that this is done.
The solar cover warranty is applied to covers used on pools run at 30°C or less.
Shock treatment of the pool with chemicals whilst the cover is on will seriously degrade the cover and void the warranty.
During manufacture, the heat welding process may cause slight reversion. This is acceptable throughout the swimming pool industry and will not detract from the life expectancy or performance of the cover.
